27AUG06 - Jewel Spider

This large Jewel Spider (Araneus gemmoides) has made its home in our hedge.

Susan - Wow, you are either very brave or just have an incredible zoom. Great pictures.
Jack - If I had to come home to that, I'd be sure to bring home plenty of bacon!
