17OCT04 - Inside

It is the second day of snow here in Edmonton and as I type this I think I hear a snow plow driving by cleaning up the streets. Perhaps it is a great day to just stay inside...

The photo is my 4 year old attending to his favorite wintertime activity: working on the computer. We have got a "keyboard keyboard" that he likes a lot. The top of the keyboard is just a regular keyboard, but the wrist rest portion on the bottom opens up to reveal a little musical keyboard for composing music.

• Bob - Wish we had snow like that. [A quite curious thought occured to me looking at the picture of your son. When someone visits your site - or mine - I don't really have a mental image of them 'looking' at it. I know they have been there and I know that they have had the pages on the screen, but the context in which that happens is unknown. Looking at your son looking at the monitor I suddenly realised that my site was once on there. It felt weird. Perhaps someone like photofriday could do an offering about 'context' so that we could all see ourselves as others see us.]
• YAYA - Long time no see! We don't get much snow here in TX, so I really love this pic. Keep snapping away those terrific shots.
• Ajeetha - Your son creates a curiosity even in my mind. He looks very sweet.
